Lounging at the Bottom of the Learning Curve in a Throw-Away World

Some people do crosswords. Some sudoku. Some even subscribe to apps especially designed to challenge their brain cells. Anything to keep those neurons firing at their optimum efficiency. Here at our house, we put the kitchen trash can on the opposite side of the sink from where it used to be.

Of the approximately kajillion times I’ve thrown something in the trash can since we switched sides last weekend, I’ve chosen the correct side only about four times. Of course, that’s been on my first try. I almost always choose correctly on my second try.
